She has been labeled of the hottest vocalists in the area, Brittany Matthews generates energy and excitement everywhere she performs.
Brittany Matthews has been performing from a very young age for everyone and anyone who would watch. Her passion is singing and acting and hopes to one day perform on Broadway. Throughout high school Brittany was very involved with choir, jazz ensemble, drama, solo and ensemble, and every talent show and event. She was a member of the Alter Ego women's quartet that performed at student concerts and had the honor to perform the National Anthem at Livonia Franklin High School's Military Ball in 2006. Brittany was very involved with Franklin Players, performing in Wizard of Oz, Guys and Dolls, and was stage manager for The Odd Couple. Brittany was a featured soloist in Franklin Choir's 2005 performance of Schubert's Mass in G. She also sang the National Anthem on a regular basis for the swimming and diving meets. Brittany also had the opportunity to portray Val Clark in A Chours Line in 2005.
With encouragement from her Choir director and family, Brittany received a scholarship to Madonna University for Vocal Performance. While attendingMadonna she has performed in numerous shows including Phantom of the Opera, Pirates of Penzance, student recitals, NATS (National Association of Teachers of Singing), faculty events and most recently Godspell. Brittany continues to work toward her degree while maintaining a full time job and managing her own company, Bees Performances.
